TERMS OF SERVICE

MB Pilates Education

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service (hereinafter – the “Terms”) set out the procedure for organizing and the conditions of participation in trainings, seminars, workshops, and other events (hereinafter – the “Events”) organized by MB Pilates Education (hereinafter – “Pilates Education”).
The Terms are prepared in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Issues not addressed herein are resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

2. Services and Conditions of Participation

Information about Pilates Education’s activities and services is provided on the website www.polestarpilates.lt.
A person wishing to participate in an Event (hereinafter – the “Participant”) must register on the respective event page, provide the required information (name, surname, contact details), and pay the participation fee as specified on the website.
Payments may be made via bank transfer or in cash on the day of the Event. Registration is confirmed by email.
Upon arrival at the Event, the Participant must present proof of payment.

3. Participant’s Rights and Obligations

Before participating in the Event, the Participant undertakes to ensure that their state of health allows them to engage in physical activity. Participation is voluntary, and each Participant chooses the intensity according to their individual condition.

While attending the Event, the Participant undertakes to:

  • be sober and not under the influence of psychoactive substances;
  • wear appropriate sportswear and clean footwear;
  • use the equipment only for its intended purpose and in accordance with instructions;
  • comply with safety rules and general standards of conduct;
  • avoid bringing valuables and leaving personal belongings unattended;
  • not take photos or videos without the organizer’s consent;
  • not disturb other participants;
  • immediately inform the organizer in case of an accident or health issue.

By paying the participation fee, the Participant confirms that they have read and agreed to the Terms and the detailed information about the specific Event (topic, date, location, duration, price, etc.).
The Participant understands that the Event meets their expectations; therefore, subsequent claims shall be deemed unfounded.

4. Consequences of Non-Attendance

The participation fee is non-refundable.
If the Participant submits a justified request no later than 72 hours before the Event and Pilates Education agrees, the fee may be transferred to another selected Event.
The transfer of participation to a third party is allowed only with prior consent.

5. Organizer’s Rights and Obligations

Pilates Education undertakes to publish accurate information about the Events on its website – date, location, program, price, lecturers, and other essential details.
The Organizer has the right to change the date, time, or location of the Event by informing registered Participants.
If the date of the Event changes, the Participant may request a refund of the paid amount.
During the Event, audio and video recordings may be made, and with the lecturer’s consent, Event materials may be shared.
If a Participant violates these Terms, Pilates Education has the right to remove them from the Event.

6. Liability

The Participant is fully responsible for their own health during the Event. Pilates Education is not liable for any damage to health or property.
The Organizer is also not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings but undertakes to store them for 30 days.
The Participant must compensate for any material damage caused by their fault.

7. Final Provisions

By signing these Terms, the Participant agrees that their contact details may be used for informational purposes (consent may be withdrawn at any time).
Pilates Education has the right to transfer its rights and obligations to third parties without prior notice.
In accordance with GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016), Pilates Education processes personal data lawfully and responsibly.
The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Disputes shall be resolved through negotiations, and if unsuccessful – in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
