Polestar Pilates Mat Exam
Exam duration: 1 day
The exam consists of:

• A written test of 50 questions.
• Creating sequences for 2 group classes for specific groups.
• Demonstration of personal practice on the Mat during a class.
• Demonstration of teaching skills with groups of different levels, including verbal, visual, imagery, and tactile cues according to Polestar Pilates Education's internal requirements.

Requirements for admission to the Polestar Pilates Mat exam:

• Polestar Pilates Movement Principles
• Polestar Pilates Mat modules 1, 2, 3
• Polestar Functional Testing (Fitness Testing)
• Anatomy courses (min. 8 hours)
• Fully completed student logbook

Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Studio Exam
Exam duration: 2 days
The exam consists of:

• A written test of 50 questions.
• Analysis of a client's fitness testing, identification of the client's issues, and creating 3 progressive training sequences using all the equipment and mat exercises.
• Demonstration of personal practice on the equipment and Mat.
• Demonstration of teaching skills in group and one-on-one settings with clients of various levels, including verbal, visual, imagery, and tactile cues according to Polestar Pilates Education's internal requirements.

Requirements for admission to the Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Studio exam:

• Polestar Pilates Movement Principles
• Polestar Pilates Comprehensive, all 6 modules
• Polestar Functional Testing (Fitness Testing)
• Anatomy courses (min. 8 hours)
• Fully completed student logbook

Polestar Pilates Reformer Exam: November 15, 2025
Exam duration: 1 day
The exam consists of:

• A written test of 50 questions.
• Creating sequences for 2 group Reformer classes for specific groups.
• Demonstration of personal practice on the Reformer during a class.
• Demonstration of teaching skills with groups of different levels, including verbal, visual, imagery, and tactile cues according to Polestar Pilates Education's internal requirements.

Requirements for admission to the Polestar Pilates Reformer exam:

• Polestar Pilates Movement Principles
• Polestar Pilates Reformer modules 1, 2, 3
• Polestar Functional Testing (Fitness Testing)
• Anatomy courses (min. 8 hours)
• Fully completed student logbook

General recommendations:

• Complete the exam procedure within 2 years, and no earlier than six months after finishing the course.
• If the exam procedure is not passed within 2 years, it is recommended to retake the courses. A 50% discount is offered for retaking the courses.
